Who We Are

Task Force LLC is a locally owned and operated small business headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA. As a member of the Louisiana Economic Development—Hudson Initiative—Small Business Program, we take great pride in our reputation for quality and performance.

Task Force LLC was incorporated in September of 2006 with a mission to provide post-disaster support to stricken areas through experienced and trusted personnel. A second office was opened in Chalmette in late September of 2007. It is a half acre warehouse staffed skilled heavy equipment operators and lawn maintenance crews.

Beginning in 2006, Task Force LLC served as a subcontractor specializing in temporary housing services for three of the Maintenance Deactivation Contractors in Louisiana under FEMA. We also have experience as a Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS) installer.

On August 24, 2007 Task Force LLC was awarded the Property Maintenance Contract for Road Home Corporation DBA Louisiana Land Trust funded by The Housing and Urban Development—Community Development Block Grant Program and administered through the Office of Community Development (OCD) and the Louisiana Recovery Authority (LRA).

The Beacon of Hope Resource Center, a non-profit organization in the Lakeview and Gentilly areas, has partnered with Task Force LLC in many different areas including restoring parks, playgrounds, and properties that are an imminent danger or could be a hazard to children and pets. Additionally, this partnership has initiated advisory groups and other community oriented events that contribute to the areas “Road Home” a pleasant one. Offering a variety of services to that neighborhood and assisting in projects are also a big part of our team effort to bring back the community.

Task Force LLC has assisted Make It Right, Brad Pitt’s Foundation for the Lower 9th Ward, in the rebuilding of the Lower 9th Ward and to assist in community outreach. Building alliances with other non-profits has been a key way for them to reach out to those residents that are still living in other areas of the state or the nation. We are proud to be a part of this great effort!

A Youth Initiative by the New Orleans Recovery School District (RSD) and Conservation Corp of Greater New Orleans, have joined with The New Orleans Recovery Authority, The Louisiana Land Trust, and Task Force LLC to implement this $1.6 million dollar grant from the Louisiana Department of Labor Office of Workforce Development.
